
The GERHARD UND MARGARETHE HOEHME-STIFTUNG (GMHS) was founded in 1998 by Margarete Hoehme (1922–2010), the artist‘s widow, and with substantial assistance from Hans-Heinrich Grosse-Brockhoff, Düsseldorf‘s Minister of Culture at the time. The foundation is managed by the Kunstpalast. Its aims include preserving Hoehme’s artistic and written works, making these works accessible to an international audience, and organizing collaborative projects with international museums, institutions, exhibition spaces etc. …
